Kate Turns 3…And Happy Thanksgiving!

Kate is our Thanksgiving baby.  She was actually born the day after Thanksgiving 3 years ago, so her actual birthday always falls right around turkey day.  She is lucky because she has gotten to be surrounded by family at all of her birthdays.  This year was no exception as we were able to spend the holiday at my sisters.  Cousins, Aunts and Uncle, Grandma & Papa, and Great Grandma were all there to celebrate!

It was so great to be able to DRIVE to see family on a holiday-what a novelty!  We had great weather, watched the Hawkeyes, celebrated Kate’s birthday, and continued to be thankful for family, friends, good health, and a happy life!

We went out for Mexican the night of her birthday.  The staff sang to her and brought her a fun hat and treat!  I can’t believe our baby is three! 

Kate continues to be a smart, sassy, fun- loving, girly girl who keeps us on our toes. She is funny like her daddy and is full of life. Since she was very little she has amazed us with her big-girl behaviors and words. She loves her brother, playing dress-up, and can’t wait to begin “ballet school” as she refers to it. We are so blessed to have our “Bunny” in our lives!
