Numbered Hooks

I recently turned some inexpensive hooks (.70 each from clearance rack at Hobby Lobby) into these distressed numbered hooks. 

Here is the breakdown.  This is how each hook looked before.

Good bones, but not into the vegetable.  I removed the hook, peeled and sanded off the vegetable print, painted two coats of a blueish gray, and sanded to distress.

I then printed off a 1, 2, 3, 4 on Word and used black acrylic paint to trace the numbers and fill in.

Once the black paint dried, I sanded the numbers and reattached the hooks.

These hooks went in the booth and the 1, 2, 3 sold right away.  I heard that a pregnant lady bought them, so I am assuming they will be a cute little addition to a nursery!!
