We spent the whole day at the pool and we are exhausted. It was close to 100 degrees today, so the pool water is getting warmer and we are loving our lazy days. Now it is time for grilling out and early to bed!
This day I also want to thank my mother for setting such an amazing example for my sister and me. She is a tremendous wife, mother, daughter, grandma, sister, volunteer, friend, and woman. There have been so many times in the last 10 years that I have wished I could have my mom near me. Even though we don't live close, I am blessed to have her in my daily life. I only hope that I can teach my kids half of what she has taught me about being a good person. She flies under the radar a bit when it comes to how much she does for others. Her caring and loving spirit is written all over her face, her words, and her actions, and for that I am grateful to call her Mom. Love you!
I also want to give a shout out to all the other important mommas in my life including my mother in law, sister, grandmother, and several wonderful friends. Hope it was a good one for you today!
On to some good news (we are done having kids, so no, it's not that)!
A friend and I signed a contract on a vendor booth yesterday! I am going to be selling some of my stuff in a little (it is little :) space that I am renting out with my friend. We have been waiting for a few months, and yesterday was the day we signed a contract to start June 1st. This means lots of prepping inventory and getting the booth looking cute! I would love for any locals to come check it out when we finally get settled in! If you know me well, this is very out of my comfort zone, but I am excited to do something for myself and to make a little fun money (hopefully)!
Apologies for the pictureless post!
