I found these thick, concrete tiles at the Habitat Restore a few weeks back. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with them, but the color drew me in. I purchased two of them at .40 a piece.
I was at Hobby Lobby (in the floral section) and my eye was drawn to these beads. How great is that shade of green? I bought one bag priced at $2.99, and used a 40% off coupon.
I decided to pair the blue tile and green beads to make monogrammed art for the kids for our backyard flower beds. The obvious way to go for me is a "D" and a "K". Took me about 10 minutes and project was less than $3. The colors really pop and look fresh for spring! I was not sure how they would hold up in the elements, but I am happy to say the sprinklers have been getting them every morning, and they are holding up just fine! The kids love anything that is "for them", so everyone is happy!
DId you use E-6000 or what adhesive?
ReplyDeleteI just used hot glue and it has held up better than I thought!
